Bottom Rail

Extruded aluminium T section with weather seal. Other options available.

Drums

Manufactured from 150 nb or 200 nb ERW tube with a 35 mm bright bar axle and helical springs for balance.

Steel Slotted Shutters

Ventilation and light are provided by punching slots into slats at specified intervals.

Perforated Shutters

Ventilation is provided by perforating slats with approx 1-3 mm holes.

Locking

Hand-operated shutters can be fitted with slide bolt locks, fitted internally or externally, at either end of the bottom rail. Chain operated shutters are fitted with a chain lock.

Electrical Operation

All Guardian Doors shutters can be electrically operated for 240 v or 3-phase power supplied with manual emergency chain override.

Deadlift Shutters

Springless shutters are also available.
